Why Xcode 12 is too slow? Can I fix it?

Hi!,
My current specs are:
iMac 21.5 4K Retina
Core i5 3.4GHz 4 Cores
8GB Ram
4 GB Radeon GPU
1 TB HDD

But while using Xcode feels like Im trying to run it on an Apple II ... or worst feels like Windows. Every action I do ends in the "waiting" macOS icon, and about 4 to 8 seconds then respond, every action even by selecting a file.
When trying to type some code is just frustrating I can't complete one single word without a 4seconds lag, then after 5 to 10 minutes with Xcode open my OS just start to fail, gets frozen and I need to start "forcing close" the app.

Can I do something to fix this? I can't get back to Xcode 11

Same exact issue. Impossible to work. And I'm not lacking for power:
CPU: 2.6 GHz 6-Core i7
16GB RAM
Computer only a few months old, and Xcode 11 worked like a charm.
I have the latest macbook pro, with top specs, average/big sized project, the whole machine or xcode were freezing or lagging heavily until i updated every updatable thing (OS, tools, etc) and restarted several times.

Now it works fine, but the editor still lags heavily for trivial operations, like editing function documentation.

Surprise surprise, once another non properly QAed version of xcode for us.
Same issue here with my mac. I have an older Mac but with 512 SSD and 8 GB ram and still runs too slow.

I have the same issue on my MacOS. I try to compile the code and the preview gives an error.

Go to Preferences... Disable "Show live issues" in General and Source Control should fix this problem(s).

Why Xcode 12 is too slow? Can I fix it?
