xcode 12 compile issue

I installed xcode 12 today. I have code written in swiftUI (5) for ios and macCatalyst and compiling and working in xcode11.7 (debug and release mode). In xcode 12 it compiles in debug mode but in release mode it returns a segmentation fault 11.

Any idea why this would happen?
