Sorry, my english is bad!


A few weeks ago, I sent an app of stickers to AppStore. Now I'm trying to do an update making it a standard app with an extension of stickers.

When I try to upload, App Loader displays the following message:


ITMS-90639 ERROR: "Invalid Binary The value of LSApplicationLaunchProhibited in Payload / PicMessage.app / Info.plist can not change after your app has been released.."


I have tried many things, such as recreating the Xcode project from scratch. Also I put LSApplicationLaunchProhibited true (and then receive other types of errors). Nothing solves my problem.


How can I solve this problem?

I have contacted Apple Developer Technical Support (Technical Support Incident-TSI) and this is what they told me:



Hi Angel


You are receiving that error message because you are trying to submit a regular iOS application with the same bundle identifier used in a previous released iMessage Application or Sticker Pack. Once an iMessage Application or Sticker Pack is released on the App Store, you are prevented from reusing that same bundle identifier in a regular iOS application. This means that it is not possible to convert an iMessage Application or Sticker Pack into a regular iOS application + iMessage Extension or Sticker Pack extension. You will need to release a new app instead.



I am very angry because no solution.

I leave documented if it happens to another developer.

I have the same problem. Did you finally fixed it?


I have made a new bundle ID as a new app that got rejected because SPAM of the first one (what a sarcastic response).

Angel,

Thanks for posting this. I had the same issue and I rebubmitted with a new app and Bundle ID and it fixed my issue!

Hey Angel and thanks for sharing!

I have the same issue; I have a watchOS-only app and now I want to support iOS, iPadOS and macOS. I guess I'll have to create a new app and app bundle. This really sucks! I guess it's a good thing I don't have a big user base…
