I'm trying to install XCode 11.5 to Catalina OS which is on Macbook Pro Early 2015. I have the .xip file on SSD External Drive but when i double click it, while its extracting the files, my hard drive space is used, not the ssd's hard drive space is getting used. Just because of that it takes up too much space and cannot be installed. How can i solve this problem?
