Problem after upgrade to iOS 14 beta version

i have problem With my some apps after update to iOS 14 beta like viber when I enter to even I can’t touch my screen on my iPhone X some apps running slow after update .what should I have to do ?
Hello All,

I have tried many thing to solve the issue unsuccessfully and what seems to work for now is the following (it has been 2hrs without any lags):

I set the iphone into DFU mode and restore it as new iphone from itune on my mac. I will keep you updated if this end up to be failing again.

Cheers,
Never mind, It didn't help...
I own the iPhone 11 max pro, 256.
After the update, the battery drains in half of the time, and I’m experiencing the same issues with freezing especially with emails and messaging.
some games also freeze.
This is unacceptable for a phone the cost over $1000.
Apple shall fix this.
Same types of issues here - for starters, as I type this very message, nothing happens for several seconds then all the letters start appearing. over and over, I am watching my screen after every sentence, like a ghost is typing this. This reminds me of old school XP SP3 with 64MB RAM performance. Are we swapping to a secret spinning hard disk here?

Battery drains at least twice as fast as iOS 13.
I won’t even get into the broken UI issues. How about the worse than nothing text prediction that has been around for many major versions now. It’s always “correcting” common words into stupid, meaningless alternatives, AFTER I hit send. What is that about??

It’s just like the old M$ way of continuing to build on top of a broken, bloated turd of an OS forever- when they should clearly start over fresh. This very thing was the downfall of Microsoft and they have never fully recovered.

I really get the feeling this is another illegal ploy by Apple- to intentionally slow all older hardware down to the point that users are forced to upgrade to the latest model. Whatever it’s is, it’s beyond unacceptable.
Take a look around at the hundreds of thousands of messages surrounding these issues Apple; 14.x is absolutely broken. Everyone on anything other than an iPhone 12 is dealing with this nightmare. Coincidence..?

I am having the same issue with my XS. For example, when I go into messages, then to a message thread and start typing it freezes for 5 seconds then puts the letters in. Seeing similar lagging issues with other apps as well. Also, when swiping down on the home screen, it freezes. Very frustrating. Not having the same battery drain issues that others mentioned.
APPLE FIX THIS SHIT NOW YOU ROTTEN BASTARDS!!!!!!
Dude I have a xs max wtf yaw on get on y'all shit y'all got all this money and what y'all gon do make us buy a NEW phone ? **** yall I'll come to the store and get my bread back or a new god damn phone stop playn wimme 🙄 y'all really fkn annoying money hungry bastards !
I’m having all sorts of problems other my XR too. My text messages lag really bad. I’ll type 5 words before anything shows up, my screen closes as I’m typing my messages even though I didn’t swipe up. I even tried installing 14.3 and the problems got even worse in Facebook messaging. It completely freezes for several seconds. So irritating. The battery drain is awful, it says my battery optimization is 89% suddenly. I’ve also had issues with calls failing pretty often. They just won’t go through. Lastly I don’t get notifications for all my texts. People say I didn’t respond to them and then I notice I got a text but didn’t get notified. What’s up with that? What is apple going to do to fix these issues for everyone?
Just a little update that might help someone else.  After very little time using  iOS 14.2, our iPhone 8 had  very odd power issues, slowdowns and severe button lag affecting volume control and screenshots.  After installing iOS 14.3  the iPhone symptoms got worse so I decided to replace the battery.    Sadly I also had to replace the screen as a flat cable was damaged removing the battery. However having now replaced both the battery and screen all problems have disappeared and after several days not come back.  Therefore in our case it was probably a battery gradually going faulty that was leading to the lag and other issues for the phone …  However, potentially it might also have been due to some fault with the first screen.

We were ready to abandon the iPhone so pleased to have pulled the situation back!
I also have an XR and experienced a lot of issues after 14.2, The phone randomly shuts off. When in a call you have to turn it to speaker to be able to hear what they are saying. Also FACE ID gives me an error and tells me it can not activate, also the phone gets really hot. I tried doing a fresh reset with saving no data but I’m still on 14.2 and with nothing downloaded still have the same issues
Hi,

I am always facing similar issues with my IPhone 11 Pro with some of the other stories shared here.

Just started yesterday when i felt my phone was being buggy and laggy. Decided to update to ios 14.3. Oh my goodness, it got waaaaaaay worst.

1) Opening apps like Whatsapp, telegram, instagram takes like 30s or even a minute to load the app
2) unable to hear or be heard by the other party while on a call/whatsapp call
3) speakers are completely not working
4) unable to play music on spotify
5) phone randomly locks or even turn off
6) at times touching the screen there is about a 5-10s lag before the phone responds

I have tried
1) Rebooting my phone several times
2) reset to default settings
3) finally restore my phone and clearing existing data but I am still facing the same issues

Please advice or perhaps fix these issues with a new update. Thanks
@Myphonefail.

I have also change my battery to a new one a month before the update. My screen is working normally but my iphone is anyway very laggy and ******. I would expect that it is maybe because of the screen that my phone is not working properly ? Can you please confirm that your iphone still work fine after changing both screen and Battery?
Jez2370,

Just for info, we purchased this phone secondhand and we didn't realise that the screen and battery had been replaced by a previous owner.   Initially iOS 13.x seemed to work OK on it, but usability problems became progressively worse in 14.x and led to our sorry saga.

As reported below, after changing the battery (n.b. using a non OEM part), all power and button issues vanished. However, problems relating to the screen remained -  insensitive and inaccurate response when typing in Messages, Mail etc.  Random things would also open up when scrolling within Safari and other apps!   There was nothing we could do in iOS to improve this.  I say "we" as several folks tried to use the phone and struggled to improve it!

I’ve finally solved all the various screen & sensitivity issues by installing an original Apple screen part .. that clearly must have been calibrated by Apple during manufacture.

So in our case we found the iPhone 8 didn't play nicely with all the third party replacement screens we tried and iOS 14.x ... either that or we've been very very unlucky with them!     BTW I tried three non-OEM screens of differing brands!

Hope this helps someone else on an iPhone 8.

Good luck with other models.

I have a new iPhone XS and I’m having the exact issues.
I wish I read this before updating mine.
Now my phone 11 Pro Max is extremely slow a d battery’s drained very fast after updating to iOs 14.
I have done the steps advised on forums from google search but still the same.
taking me ages to connect to wifi whereas it never happened before the update.
