Hello everyone.

I'm slowly learning Swift and programming on MacOS (the one for IOS will come maybe later).
I would like to develop something, but I need a goal to achieve, because nothing comes to mind on two feet.

Could you recommend something not too complicated to develop that is not present on MacOS or is no longer updated?

Of course I don't do it for money, I also publish the source without problems here, for the moment I would only like to have some goal to achieve while I learn.

There are so many apps available, it is hard to say what does not exist yet, in one form or another.

A way to find an application case is to think of a pain point you have in your daily life.
Is it about yo

  • ur electricity consumption ? Try do develop something to give advice on how to better manage.

  • Is it about things to do at certain dates ? Develop an app where you enter such things to do in bulk and each day retrieve what is relevant for tomorrow.

  • Is it books you read and want to get track, of characters names, of the plot … ? Build a BooksMemory app

  • Is it how to find where you stored a b ook in your library ? Build a book location app…

Sure you will find tens of such ideas, up to you to choose one.
