Is anyone else experiencing issues with wireless charging with the iOS 14 DP1? Since installing it, wireless charging doesn't work. The battery charge indicator turns green, but the iPhone itself isn't charging. I find I have to turn off the iPhone for it to begin charging. When I turn it off, the even stranger thing is the iPhone doesn't turn back on when getting the charge. It is charging, however, because when I push the power button to turn it on, the battery capacity has increased.

Occuring on an iPhone II Pro Max.

I have a new iPhone SE and recently upgraded to iOS14. I have noticed my phone doesn’t charge fully unless I keep checking it and unplugging and replugging it in. Only had the phone couple of months and this didn’t happen before iOS 14.

Apple needs to research this and send out a fix or at least provide an alternate way to get phones charged until they have a fix.

i am having same problem with my iphone 8 plus. My battery stay at 70% all day and not charging wirelessly or with charging cable after all day my phone trun off at 70%. After that I connect my iphone 8 plus on charging cable + wireless charger then it takes 2 hours for turn on. And now my phone trun off automatically with 100% battery or 60% 70%. Same exact problem with me; iPhone 8 and since I’ve updated to iOS 14, it’s barely charging, if at all, wirelessly, but works fine when plugged in.

Same issue with my iPhone XR. IOS 14 public release. I have two Logi wireless charging stands, and I have the same issue with both. Setting the phone on the charger, the contact sound occurs and charge symbol appears. I can come back hours later and the phone power level has barely moved. When I am in my office I have the charger right by me and the phone will occasionally make the contact sound, the screen will come on, then go off again. It acts like it contact is being lost for a sec. IOS 14.0.1 is available for download but does not mention this issue.

Facing the same issue with my iPhone X. It takes forever to charge using wireless charging pad after upgrading to iOS 14..
Put on charging pad at 7 AM (21%), its. 10 AM and it is charged up-to 69%. Long time to go for 100%.

iPhone Xs Max, wireless charging inop after installing iOS 14. It makes the initial connection but then it is intermittent on/off where it ends up not charging.

Yeah, having similar issue. The only way I've found to get to accept any charge wirelessly on my iphone 8+ is in airplane mode

Similar problem with iPhone XR (iOS 14.0.1). When connected to IKEA wireless charger it starts charging but after a second or two it turns off and then back on again.

Same problem here. I have to disconnect and reconnect the charging pad every time i want to charge my phone. Iphone XR

Yes, with my iPhone 11 using an Anker charging pad that worked perfectly before the update.

Can confirm same issue here. Using Iphone XR with Xiaomi wireless charger.

Worked flawlessly on IOS 13.

IOS 14 - Can not charge Lah.

Yet again the consumers become the beta testers.
