Double tapping Build creates a tab but is unable to display

I am on Xcode 12, and during build I double tapped the debug navigator and Xcode correctly created a tab. When I tap on the tab it doesn't open.

Is there any useful information I can send over?

I'd love to hear more about the steps here, are you double clicking the debug navigator's tab icon? Or at you double clicking something inside the navigator? Are you running on Catalina or Big Sur? Feel free to file a feedback with these steps and your expectations!
