What version of Swift Playgrounds or Xcode in order for us to follow the code-alongs in the sessions this week?

I saw the good topics available on the sessions today.

However, I would like to know if I should update to iOS 14 and latest beta of Swift Playgrounds in order to follow along SwiftUI in Swift Playgrounds sessions.

And it is necessary to update to Big Sur and update to the latest Xcode beta.

And can I update the latest Xcode beta without updating to Big Sur?

There is no public beta for Swift Playgrounds currently. You can use the version of Swift Playgrounds that already ships in the app store to follow along with the Swift UI in Swift Playgrounds session.

Xcode 11 and the publicly available versions of Swift Playgrounds should be ok to use. If you want to follow along with SwiftUI sessions, I would recommend the Xcode Developer Seed.

You can install the Xcode 12 Beta on macOS 10.15.4 ( Catalina ). You do not need to upgrade to macOS 11 ( Big Sur ) to try out the Xcode 12 Beta. Here are the Xcode 12 Beta Release Notes.
