iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s

I have installed the beta iOS 14 on my iPhone 6s and the battery drains pretty fast
I have the same problem with iphone 6s, the battery draining in less than an hour, unlike the previous Ios 13 system, it was good in ios13
Horrible battery life on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPad 4 mini that I keep on airplane mode. My phone now I have to constantly charge. My iPad which I rarely use I charged to 100% came home turned off airplane mode and down to 61% with zero use in between. Both get super hot even when not on the charger. Apple what did you do?! FIX IT!
My iPhone 7 PLUS ios 14.0.1
100% —-> 38% in 2 hour
same ... pls fix
Same here on 7 plus, I changed my battery recently, was working great till iOS 14 (or 14.1). Went to bed with battery saving mode at 68 %, woke up to 25 %. Dissapointed.
Same here, IOS 14 ruined battery life on my iPhone X.
Same here.I loved my 6s and now it's cr*p. Changed last year the battery when broke accidently the display. When started day with 100% battery I had in the evening still about 30%. Now I have to charge it mid-day. Unacceptable that quick battery drain.

Thinking of switching to a android phone with a big nice battery which lasts two days.
I can't stand the big ugly notch in the new iphones. I'm waiting until apple gets rid of the big notch. Then will buy an iphone again.
I installed iOS 14.0.1 on my iPhone 6S about a week ago, and now the battery is completely drained (goes from 100% to 0%) in 90 minutes! The battery health of my phone is 92%, so I know the battery isn't the problem. The phone was working perfectly before the iOS update. Now it's completely unusable unless I'm near an A/C source to keep recharging it. When is Apple going to fix this?? They need to issue a patch or a new iOS immediately!!!
Same here on my brand new SE 2020! From an authorized apple service they tell me that the phone is perfectly fine, but in fact it is useless! It heats up for no reason and I charge it 3-4 times a day without using it. APPLE THIS IS WRONG !!! Fix your updates
It is clear that 14.0.1 drain the battery (much) faster than IOS13. I have an Iphone 8 plus, with battery health 88% and after upgrading to 14.0.1 I have to charge my iphone everyday (sometimes twice). With the previous IOS versions I used to charge it every two days. I wish Apple releases a new IOS version fixing this issue soon. I love Apple, but these things are very dissapointing.
Just updated my 1st generation iphone se with the latest 14.0.1 update the surprised to see the battery draining rapidly as we speak or so to say as I type here. This is absolutely unbelieveable. I have already done the suggested method of cloud back up and resetting the phone factory fresh and then reuploading my backup, YET the battery drain fast like a bullet train. I have done the above method of resetting 3 times and everytime I see the battery % change fast literally before my eyes. 100% --> 10% in one hour is absolute ********. APPLE needs to buck up and get this fixed ASAP. This is not a game , this is not a time to give stupid advice. The advice of re setting the phone again and again doesnt solve the issue. APPLE BUCK UP, WAKE UP or ppl are going to stop buying iphones.
I updated my iPhone 8 yesterday and, boy, do I regret it. Whilst I haven't lost any data, my phone is draining battery quicker than a teenager drinking vodka cruisers with a straw.

My phone was on 100% charged when I went to bed at 11.30pm last night. All apps were manually closed except for the alarm, as I do every night. I woke up this morning at 6.30am with my phone below 50% battery left from just sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Put it on the charger and it got super hot as it started to charge which it also normally doesn't.

Not happy about that. I'm out and about a lot for work during the day and it's a hassle having to drag a charger chord with me wherever I go and trying to find charging ports multiple times throughout the day which I will have to if a few hours on idle drain the battery by half already.
This is a follow-up to my post from yesterday re the ridiculously short battery life of my iPhone 6S following the iOS 14 update. Per Apple's direction, I erased all the content from my phone and then reinstalled it from my iCloud backup. My battery is still draining way too rapidly. It went from 100% to 18% in only 3 hours, with only modest use. I can no longer use this phone as a phone, as I will need to be near an A/C source with my charging cord at all times. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, APPLE??? You made my perfectly functioning phone completely unusable. HOW AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS??
I have the same problem. I bought apple watch 6 and it required to upgrade to ios14 so i did. After that iphone battery does not last 4 hr. I have to carry my charger all the time and i thought it was apple watch that drained my phone battery so i was about to return my apple watch. Also apple watch battery does not last enough even though it is new unboxed product. I hate to search around internet and not getting any helpful answer.
I updated my 6S' iOS last weekend to 14.0.1 and I am having the same problem as everyone else has of the rapid drain of my battery. This is totally unacceptable! I use my iPhone for 2 step authentication for work and if I cannot use my phone to log-in to my work accounts then what use is my phone?? I am very upset!
This has left my iPhone 7 and iPhone SE absolutely useless. 100% to 0% within 6 hours with only 10 mins of usage in this duration. 100% to 0% if I used it for 45-60 mins (only Call and Message) immediately after full charge. Only 4 mins of video recording made iPhone 7 heat so much that it has shown a screen with thermometer suggesting to cool down before using it further. I was forced to buy Android phone after all I cannot let this issue impact my job because of pathetic issues. Battery was never a strength of iPhone but often poor iOS releases are making me think about permanently moving to Android. Moreover, there are no updates from apple on by when it will be fixed except that reset thing which didn't work for most of us.

Thanks but no thanks!
