iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s

I have installed the beta iOS 14 on my iPhone 6s and the battery drains pretty fast
Code Block
iphone 11/ipad pro 12.9 /apple watch 5 all draining really fast on ios 14.3 beta 3,charged my iphone 11 to 100% last night, woke up and it was at 76%,im getting about 6-7 hours screen on with ios 14 compared to 11 hours on ios 13,same on ipad pro,was getting 12 hours on ios 13 but down to 6 hours on ios 14, what the hell is going on apple, this has been going on to long now, sick of it,if i could afford it I would switch to android, with these 3 apple devices all I do is constantly charge, get it together ffs

My IPhone 6S plus has never gave me problems in the 3 years i have had it. It has a 3 month old battery, and use to last almost 2 days. After updating to IOS 14.2 my battery now last about 2-3 hours gets very warm and I can’t use most of my apps and phone is very laggy. I updated to 14.3 and it hasn’t helped the issue at all. This is ridiculous. Was seriously thinking of upgrading to a newer iPhone, but after this bs I think I’ll just go back to android.
I have an iPhone 6s & had the same problem. I’ve read numerous articles on how to save battery life and have implemented all of them. I downloaded 14.2 & it seemed okay. Then one day, after a 100% recharge, I set it down & didn’t use it all day. When I picked it up, it was at 1%!!! I looked at battery life & Siri had used 100%!!! I had it set up to access Siri only when you pressed the home button. I undid anything related to Siri. I did some of the tips suggested on this forum, except factory reset. Finally, I turned her completely off. My phone is back to normal. I miss her but I had to chose between her & battery life. I understand that 14.3 has been released & unless it has addressed some of these problems, I will not take the update. However, I will keep this phone until it completely dies, any apps that quit working will be deleted. (& in the meantime I should start saving my money for a new iPhone.....unless an other & better brand comes along).
I have had the same issues. Just today battery went from 70% down to 7% in 2 hours. All since downloading IOS 14. Currently on 14.3 but still same issue. I am also having big time issues connecting to wifi. Have not been able to connect to any wifi since the IOS 14.3 update. I have tried just about everything mentioned.
apple are u kidding us. I’m using iPhone 7 my money totally wasted. ******* Apple developers.. cheaters... we are fooling people yes to bought iphones . Please go and sucide developers. My phone capacity 85.. I charged 50 night. After wake up phone switch offf . ******* dont fu.. like this . We are cheated by fam company..**
Apple. You need to fix this issue. This is ridiculous. It’s obviously an issue with IOS 14.3.

WTF....!!! apple you are degarating old models over battery to sell new models what a strategy why can’t you try to increase your battery size gor your models. This IOS 14.3 update made my iphone 11 screen on to 5hours standby charge is draining by 4% per hour.please realease stable it’s better to choose android in terms of battery..!!
After reading through this thread, I implemented a few suggestions from various posts with success. Will re-post here if the results change within 24 hours, but first run through worked to bump my battery back up. After implementing these changes my battery went from 43% to 97% when I turned the phone back on:
  1. Turned off Background App Refresh

  2. Turned off Auto Brightness in Display settings and Accessibility

  3. Turned Off Siri Completely

  4. Went to Settings, Battery and toggled OFF "Battery Percentage." Then I scrolled down and selected Battery Health, and toggled OFF Optimized Battery Charging. Then I did a hard restart of the phone, went back into the Battery settings again and turned Optimized Battery Charging back ON and Battery Percentage back ON

Good luck, everyone! Hopefully we won't be FORCED to get new phones during these trying times....

So basically turn everything off! Sounds like a good fix! I am having several other issues. Wi-fi dropping at home. Cannot connect to any wo-fi outside of home. Blue tooth connection is terrible now. So much static it’s unbearable. And of course the draining of 100% of battery in about 2 hours. All since IOS 14.3.
I am having the same issue. After I updated to IOS 14.3, my iPhone Xs Max drains battery super fast. I can wake up in the morning after having charged it over night within 3 hours, it has drained by 20%, after 5 hours it is down below 40%. Before the update, I was able to go all day without having to worry about the battery completely draining. Apple, please correct this. IOS updates should not drain batteries and then make a person think that they have to update their iPhone to the latest version because they think their current phone is failing. That is not fair practices. Thank you.
Had the same issue on SE, the following method solved the problem. i let the phone battery level to go down to zero till it turned off. To my surprise it spent a lot of time at certain level points, such as 11%. I realize now that the problem was that the ios lost the estimation of the battery level. After going to zero and recharging all is back to normal. Good luck!!
Severe issue of battery discharge is faced since upgrade looks some zombie process eating battery this needs a permanent fix
downloaded ios 14.3 this morning for my 6s with high hopes the battery drain would be gone. unfortunately, a 2-minute call still used 2% of the battery.
has anybody come across a solution?
Same problem. Went from iOS 13 to 14.3 and now the battery on my 6S is completely useless! Have to carry an external battery pack with me all the time.
Same problem here. Brand new Ipad Pro 2020 11inch (2 months old). I updated to Ipad os 14.3 directly when it came out. Since a few days I have the battery life ever (currently on Ipad Os 14.3). It all started with Ipad OS 14.

On Ipad OS 13 it was great and I got an amazing battery life. Charged the Ipad yesterday up to 100 % and shut it of entirely. Turned it on today and it just had 78 percent left. A few days I still had 10 percent left and it just turned off. I get with super low brightness 4 hours screen on time. I can watch the battery percentage dropping. My girldfriend has the exact same device, exacatly the same apps and Ipad OS 14.3 installed all services etc. are turned on and no problems at all.

At the moment everything is turned off. No syncing, no location services. It’s such a desaster and I am super frustated for a device with such a high price tag.
