Since installing iOS 14 my iphone 11 pro Max‘s battery drains faster than fast! And it gets too hot to hold!
what’s up Apple? Entering the cooking business?

It’s been almost 5 days and the battery has become too unreliable and am considering to downgrade to ios 13.7. Does anyone know how to do this without reseting the phone? Thanks!

I am having same issue, my battery is draining within mins drops to 10% I restart my phone and back up to 98%, what is going on??? Please correct this ASAP

Same problem. It won’t get get to 100%. Within 15 minutes battery drops, even not using it at, my battery will drain

I updated the system to iOS 14 on iPhone 11 Pro Max and the battery (whose health is 100%) has worsened. It was excellent before the update.

I'm getting about 6 hours (mostly standy) out of an iPhone 8. Absolutely useless. Can anyone explain (in simple terms) how to go back to the previous IOS without using iTunes? Thanks

Does iOS 14 drain battery?
Anyone seeing a battery drain, don't panic. For the first 24-48 hrs IOS 14 is reindexing your entire iPhone and this takes a lot of juice. It will go back to normal in a day or two.

IPhone X here. I experienced the same issue. Was considering to downgrade but somewhere I read this battery drainage was due to some background indexing of the contents of the phone and that it should last for 2 or 3 days. I decided to wait and now, 3 days after the upgrade my battery fife is back to normal. Hope this helps!

Installed it last night. 100% charge at 8am down to 14% by 2pm. Considering rolling back.

Same is with me.

Have to charge phone 2x a day.
