I have installed the beta iOS 14 on my iPhone 6s and the battery drains pretty fast
iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s
Same issue here! I have an iPhone 11, and it goes down a % every minute! I guess with all the new things they put on here, it’s really hard on the battery.
same here, on 7.......battery drained 40% in two hours.....why does apple release crap like this without addressing the power drain issue? will delete everything new that i dont need/use and see if that helps.
Still with the stable version of iOS 14 released and running for more that 3 days battery drain is present. My iPhone 7 has all possible tricks in place to mitigate that, statistics don’t show relevant data what drain the system at all and battery get drained faster all the time.
There is clear something in the OS badly implemented.
There is just one more possibility and that is a reset of the phone to see, if the reconfiguring can help or just give you an feeling that you tried all, before you get that feeling that apple is not anymore what it was and probably you should think about possibe new investments in anything from them.
e.g. Airpods pro have a battery drain issue as well. After they get to market 3x fw update was released, but still they has battery drai. Issue in place and they replace them just like hw is broken all the time. Ok maybe can be a bad hw as well, but I buy them two weaks ago and after 3 days of usage, the issue was present and new fw came before ios14, but did not solve that at all 🙈.

After i upgraded to IOS 14 my phone cant be charge always stuck at the lowest previous percentage now my phone stuck at 15% and it wont go up and the battery drains real fast. Now this makes me thinking did the developers do a test run before launching the new ios system?
Please give me a solution because that iphone is important to me without it im facing difficulties towards my college activity

Today I updated my SE (1st gen), I lost 60% from my battery in 1 hour without open apps, only on settings and interface settings. Next update to fix this it will be soon or we must go back to iOS 13 until you will fix the problem? I need my phone for some health problems, thank you in advance!
Same problem on iPhone 7.
Crazy battery drain (need to charge it 3/4 times a day) and excessive heat even when doing basic tasks like messaging.
In addition, battery stats stated that battery current capacity was 79% of max capacity and needed a replacement.
I have downgraded to iOS 13.7. Battery life is back, heat disappeared and battery stats states that the capacity is 92%, which is in line with battery age (10 months).
I suggest you all to downgrade, the new functions of iOS 14 are not enough to stand with such issues.

On the iPhone 11 I’m seeing battery drain too. Used to get about 1.5 days of regular usage. Now I’m at less than a full day.
11 Pro. Draining so fast I can't even charge it wirelessly. Goes to 0% from 100% overnight while idle. Battery history shows nothing. A few apps with a few minutes of background activity.
Bro if You keep in lower battery mode because when I charged my iphone in 100 % then I kept in lower battery mode then when I woke up it was 95%
so I suggest to keep your battery in lower battery mode everytime u keep in lower battery mode ok

Guys iOS 14 doesn’t do anything about the battery but just updates the iPhone that’s it
and that to iOS 14 is nice

Whoever suggested "shut down phone, wait one minute, and reboot" wins my internet today. Prior to reboot my iPhone was running hot and burning through battery even after disabling Location Services and limiting apps in the background.
iPhone 11 Pro runs as nice as it ever did now with the new features. Thank you.

Worst update ever. Been trying to go back to IOS 13. Huhuhu. Battery drains fast, cant completely charge and iphone pro is always over heating. I should learn from this and never do automatic updates. 😭
I own the iPhone 11 and I've recently updated to the stable version of IOS14. Both overheating and Battery drain problems are present on my device. I immediately noticed these issues right after the update. I went on the internet and found that these problems were evident even in the latest beta of IOS14. I've tried all the solutions that have been suggested (Restart, low battery mode, remove widgets, update apps, etc..) and the problem still persists. This is clearly an issue caused by the IOS14 update, because prior to the update my iPhone 11 was performing great in terms of battery life and heat management. Are there any news of any update that fixes this issue from apple? because i am holding off resetting my iPhone until any news of that.
I found my iPhone XS also experiencing tons of battery drain, on the top of that, overheating! Even just simple task, like open calendar app, and browse a webpage. Tried to remove all the background refreshing apps, but problem remains. Apple should release new patches soon.... hopefully.
