Hello,
I am trying to download the Xcode app, when I
press get it is saying I don't have enough space in my mac but my mac have over 17G left.
can I download instead inside ssd card?
When I get info on my XCode folder it says:
17,388,866,273 bytes (10.07 GB on disk)
so you probably don't have enough disk space. A development environment for two opertaing systems, documentaktion, etc. is big.
17 GB is not that much (for XCode).
With the various temporary storage needed, should better count on 50 GB available.
Thanks,
I have a ssd card with 120G free, How do i download Xcode from the app store to my ssd card
Comes up like once a week around here. 17 gb is not enuf. 50 gb would be bare minimum, I get nervous when I fall below 500 GB free.
Search here on: do the math
Make room on the main drive by transferring to SSD first.
