Has anyone realized a change in AVPlayer behavior in tvOS 13.x?
Specifically, the AVPlayer sometimes fires multiple requests to fetch playlists in seconds. I have seen some side-effects in this behavior:
1) First, When the returned playlist not come with any updates, the AVPlayer try to fire another one to the same media level, and then to the lower media level. This may end up with degrade video quality and playback buffering.
2) Second, The AVPlayer throws a complaints with Error -12888/CoreMediaErrorDomain Playlist File unchanged for 2 consecutive reads.
I'm not sure if this behavior is new in tvOS 13.x. I wish any Apple guy can come up and confirm.
Has anyone got the same situation? Please share your case.
