I'm trying to install Xcode on High Sierra 10.13.6 and I'm having problems doing so. I'm getting error that I need to upgrade to 10.14 or higher but I don't want to upgrage my Mac OS. Is there and older version of Xcode that can be installed on my version of Mac (10.13.6)?
Xcode want install on high Sierra 10.13.6
^^ What version would work? Just spent an hour downloading Xcode 10.2 zip and it didn't execute.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xcode has a good summary of compatibility versions. Looks like for 10.13.6 you'll need Xcode 9.4.1
According to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xcode - the version of XCode running High Sierra 10.13.6 is version 9.4.1.
I found the specific version on Apples developer website:
Xcode_9.4.1
https://download.developer.apple.com/Developer_Tools/Xcode_9.4.1/Xcode_9.4.1.xip
Should be pretty straight forward after you've downloaded.
1. Unpack the .xip file
2. Install the program
And then you're done ! I managed to do so without any complications.

If I do this and get an error "Loading a plug-in failed" when I try and launch Xcode 9.4.1 on High Sierra
Xcode_10.1.xip
