At times during writing code (SwiftUI) I find that my MacBook runs like a slug and when I check Activity Monitor I find that SourceKitService is hogging the CPU. I did note some post from some years ago complaining about the same problem but you would have thought that this issue would not be still occuring in the latest release.
I don't know what the reason is behind it. Is it memory (RAM) availability (I have 16Gb) or something to do with XCode itself? Could it also be that the SwiftUI framework is the culprit insofar as it is only the first release and there is likely to be a lot of work to do to the complier to make it better.
Anyone hazard a guess?
