An AVAssetItem is created from this local file and an AVFragmentedAssetMinder is used to monitor the changes to the asset with mindingInterval: 2. We are observing for AVAssetDurationDidChange and AVAssetContainsFragmentsDidChange notifications NotificationCenter.default.addObserver(self, selector: #selector(onVideoUpdate), name: .AVAssetDurationDidChange, object: nil) NotificationCenter.default.addObserver(self, selector: #selector(assetContainsFragments), name: .AVAssetContainsFragmentsDidChange, object: nil) The above notifications are not called in iOS 17 iPhone devices. These notifications are called in iOS 17 simulator and in previous iOS devices.
