Have you tried a clean install of FCPX? Beta 9 seems to be working for most others.

Replied In Final cut pro Ver 10.4.6 crashes with Catalina 10.15 OS, When will there be a fix?

Beta 9 is out today. Please let me know if Final Cut is still crashing for you.

I was able to roll back to Mojave, using the internet recovery system.

I’m having the same issue. Unfortunately, I think its effecting any application the uses OpenGL.
