Typically, this was immediately solved by using a withAnimation block around the state change that determines the visibility of the toolbar.

I deleted all my Health data by going to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices then going through all the devices and apps that had written data to Health. This appears to have solved the issue at the cost of all my recorded data.

Ok, I've got a spare device and I have reset it and created a brand new Apple ID and now the above code works exactly as I would expect. So this leads me to the following question. How can I reset my HealthKit for my personal Apple ID, without losing my data as I would like to keep it?

I'm having similar issues. I have a playground in my workspace that I am trying to use to test a framework from the same workspace.Although I have access to the framework, changes after a particular point in time do not take effect. I've tried reopening the workspace, restarting xcode, cleaning the build folder, deleting derived data. Nothing changes. Even if one of these methods helped, it's no longer an efficient workflow anyway.I'm using Xcode 11.4 beta.

Yes, this is what current happens with most apps. However, Apple's own Workouts and Breathe apps don't do this. They actually stay on the watch face but with a reduce update rate and no animations. As you can imagine, this is extremely useful while you are working out as it means you can just glance at your watch to get an idea of time remaining rather than raise your wrist (on a bike for instance).I (and my apps users) want to know if it's possible for own workout apps able to opt into this behaviour.
