Sorry, I don't have an answer. Can I ask what kind of Belkin HUB and SSD you're using? I've made a number of attempts to boot from external drives using my M1 Mac - without much success and would be happy to just get it working with a decent HUB. Thanks.

Thanks, part of the project is a garbage collected preference panel (eek!) so I need a version of the compiler which supports that.I'll have a look at Xcode 6.2 though and see what I can do with that. Cheers.
