Installing 3rd party drivers does not solve the issue. I tried Prolific and FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_4_2.

None of the suggestions worked for me (I am installing the actual update, not the beta). At this point I've downloaded the update 5 or 6 times. I am giving up.
