try to delete the Beta-Profile on your Mac and install the Profile from Developer-Page again... and test...Maybe you installed the last Public-Beta?
Update: TimeMachine started Backup just after installing latest Developer-Preview (DP 3, 19C46a), seems the Problem is fixed.Will try other Things and test.
Just updated to 19C39d, macOS 10.15.2 DP2, but the Problem is there again... No Solution yet.Hope to the next Version.

Update through AppStore. Search for "Apple Catalina" Download and install the Release.

No Problem, please go to Appstore, type in Searchfield -> Apple Catalina, and you get the Option to download the Full-Installer.In last Release-Note (no more available) they told us, that the Final will not update automatically, but the next Beta will show there.

Maybe this explain it to you..from Release Notes:->iCloudKnown IssuesAfter updating to macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta 7 or later, iCloud Drive might synchronize for an extended period of time. If you notice any missing files, they can be found inside a Recovered Files folder in your home folder. (54046219)Even when Optimize Storage is switched off, iCloud Drive might fail to automatically download all files. (50667204)Workaround: Download files individually.

You can use ClamXAV as an Antivirus with Catalina, You can use Malwarebytes.com, On Mwb you have to install with pacifist.app, because the regular Installation looks at OS.-Version and rejected on Catalina.But after restart the Mac, Mwb works fine under Catalina too.

Yes, same here.. maybe the Preview saved with these Folder visible..No Problem you can hide these Folders.. use Terminal.appsudo (if you want to do this as Administrator)type "chflags hidden" (drag and drop the desired Folder here opt, mnt, sw...), without the qoutes, press Enterif you use the sudo-command you have to type in your password.in Finder you see disappeard the dropped Folder.to make it visible, use nohidden instead of hidden.
