That’s How it is supposed to work. But I can’t get the phone to recognise both lines. When IOS 13 is installed it defaults to the eSIM number, even though both lines are turned on. The only way to recognise the other line is to turn off the eSIM. Also iMessage defaults to the eSIM number and there is no way to change it. How did you manage to get both numbers active, as I’ve tried beta 1, 2 and the public beta without success.

I had the same problem with beta 1, and it looks like it is still there in beta 2. Just in the process of removing IOS 13 and wait until they hopefully fix it in beta 3
