I saw that from the promotion video but I believe taking 3D movies is what it can do for now (extending on the iPhone capabilities.) I don't think it can scan outdoor environment similar to its indoor functionality as it will require much more powerful lidar or equivalent sensors. However, I believe this Vision Pro is a preview of the future Apple Car where it will include powerful 3D lidar or equivalent network of sensors.
