It should be noted that the app was published from our corporate apple dev account but all the source code etc was provided by the original vendor. Uhm, I may be missing something maybe, but this should mean that you can simply generate new profiles and certificates and replace the old App with a new one, which everybody will simply get per App Store update like normal. No need for any push notifications.

even though I don’t own a Mac That should be the first sign that you need to stop what you're trying. You have no means to even debug what is wrong, let alone you probably are not a developer then.

With iOS 14 (with the first beta of course) the Today Extensions get disabled. They are only supported in iOS 13 and below. If you want to continue supporting some kind of widget, you will need to create a new Extension using WidgetKit and ship it too.

SVG is simply not supported. You need to rasterize (PNG etc) or convert (PDF) it.
