This is still an issue on Version 13.1 (13A1030d) and any simulator with ios 14 and above

To confirm the same as @KINGandKONG just with ios 14.3 simulator just hangs but 13.5 works fine

Having the same issue, the ios 14.3 simulator just hangs and the 13.5 works just fine.
Doing this helped on the 11.2.1 (11B500) and devices with 12.4.1 Installed
There is still an issue on Version 11.2.1 (11B500) but on devices with 12.4.1 still getting:*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidUnarchiveOperationException', reason: 'Could not instantiate class named _UITextLayoutView because no class named _UITextLayoutView was found; the class needs to be defined in source code or linked in from a library (ensure the class is part of the correct target)'
