I don’t know if this got posted earlier so I’ll try again: This worked for me: close all apps on iPhone and iPad (if you have the latter) Un-pair Apple Watch Reset iPhone and iPad (if you have the latter) After reset, re-pair Apple Watch Worked for me. I’ve been running my watch for over four hours from 100% to 83%, which is normal for me. You won’t lose any apps or important files with the reset but you will have to re-enter passwords, facial recognition, Touch ID, etc.

I did the following which, crossing fingers, fixed the issue: 1. Unpair Apple Watch 2. Close all open apps on iPhone (and iPad if you have one) 3. General > Reset All Settings > Reset iPhone and iPad 4. Re-pair Watch A bit of a pain to update various preferences,, passwords, face recognition, touch, etc. but it appears to have worked for me.
