I spent 6 hours tonight trying to resolve this and this was the only thing I could find to fix. Funny enough the issue was only happening when hooked up to Xcode. If i disconnected and ran the app without the attached debugger it wouldn't get caught. Not sure what that adds to the discovery here. But by any means, thank you OP
