This behavior is definitely a bug. Removing unused simulators will help with storage but it won't clear "Dead" folders from used simulators

It's indeed logical for packages on their own repository but for local packages it makes less sense I think. At least in our context.
Anyway, thank you for the clarification, I've file a feedback FB15124276 and I'll stick with manual translations for now ;)
