Hello bryan.m.obrien, that sounds like a really annoying problem to have. I'd love to get to the bottom of it! Please file a report at feedbackassistant.apple.com and we'll take a look. You'll need to include a sysdiagnose taken after the issue occurs. @Silverlox, if you feel that your bug report is stuck or hasn't been reviewed, please email web-evangelist@apple.com with your Feedback ID. I'll look it up and return it if we need additional information (i.e., a sysdiagnose). Thanks, BJ

Hello EricDu, I'm sorry that the tabs have disappeared, not sure why that would be! They still exist for sure. You can select which tabs are displayed by right-clicking on any part of the tab bar and checking or unchecking the listed tabs. If this still doesn't work, please file a report at feedbackassistant.apple.com and we'll take a look promptly. Thanks! BJ

This sounds like a bug. Does it happen on all websites, or a few specific ones? Does this happen in Safari Technology Preview? Please file a report at feedbackassistant.apple.com if you are unable to work around or resolve the issue. ~BJ

Hello h_b, thanks for writing. It sounds like you are hitting a crash in the page that's being inspected, not in Web Inspector itself. Does this happen for a specific page, or lots of pages? And, does this happen in a recent release of Safari Technology Preview? Either way, please file a report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com and we'll take a look. Please include a sysdiagnose and the URL(s) where you are encountering this issue. Thanks! BJ

We believe this has been addressed in Safari 14 and recent Safari Technology Preview. Update and try again. If it still happens, please file a report at feedbackassistant.apple.com with a test page and test script to demonstrate the issue. See man safaridriver for more tips about reporting safaridriver bugs.

Hello, Starting in iOS 14, the Remote Automation toggle has been removed from the settings menu for Simulators only. Instead, remote automation is always allowed for Simulator targets. You shouldn't have to do anything special to use simulators with the iOS 14.0 runtime, so please file a bug if you cannot connect to said simulators.

Hello dunhuang, In Safari 13 and later, you can view the remote address in the Network tab and the Sources tab. Network Tab: right-click on the column headers and ensure "IP Address" is checked. Sources Tab: appears for a resource loaded over the network in the "Request & Response" sidebar section. Thanks, BJ

Hello homromg, Based on your screenshot, it seems that somehow you have set a URL breakpoint that won't go away. (What's that? You can learn more about URL breakpoints here: https://webkit.org/web-inspector/url-breakpoints/) We believe this bug has been fixed in Safari Technology Preview and Safari 14. Please consider trying these options out. Another workaround would be to clear out the contents of ~/Library/Safari/LocalStorage/, however this will affect normal browsing local storage as well. Thanks, BJ

Hello Mateo, You can emulate many iOS devices and runtimes using the Simulator included with Xcode, and remotely debug/inspect those webviews using Safari's Develop menu. You can test out responsive layouts using Safari's Responsive Design Mode tool, under the Develop menu. This is also compatible with Web Inspector. I have no recommendations regarding other platforms. Thanks, BJ
