I find it strange that the issue only appeared on a few devices, not on all of them. Currently, I’m unable to reproduce the issue on the devices I have on hand. When I applied this method, it worked fine on most other devices. The problem only occurred on a few specific devices, which are running iOS 16.1.2 and iOS 15.6 on an iPhone SE (2nd generation).
