Reinstalling Xcode did NOT work.
I have the same problem, posted it here - https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/660496 a few days ago.
Definitely related to opening the Simulator. Happens every time immediately after it.
Already tried
sudo mdutil -E /
Should I reinstall Xcode entirely?
