I have the same problem. I also tried it a swift HelloWorld application to rule out that my app was causing it.
While I am mostly stuck during "In Progress........", on one occasion I also got the error "Error: HTTPError(statusCode: nil, error: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1004 "Could not connect to the server." [...]".
