Hi All,
I had Beta 6 Dev running on my iPad 11" 1st gen. Was in the Photos app. I selected Faces From My Mac and the app crashed. Haven't been able to load Photos ever since - even after going to Beta 7. I tap on the Photos app, and I can see it start to load, but almost immediately it crashes. I think it's trying to go into Faces From My Mac as that was last selected, and it can't - so I'm seeing it crash immediately.
Any advice in trying to get it to work again? Have of course tried rebooting, long holding on the app and selecting the other options (Search, One Year Ago, Favorites, and Most Recent) - none of those works.
Thanks all!
Jon

Hi All,
Am getting lots of “75C541C6-5492-408B-B07A-00EFD810F346.mp4” was not copied to the iPad “Jon’s iPad Pro 11” because it cannot be played on this iPad" messages when syncing videos to my iPad. When I try to cancel the dialog box, I get another message for another video, and there's tons of them.
I'm on the latest version of iPadOS Beta (16.1 (20B5064c) but this has been happening for the last 2 or 3 Betas.
Any ideas why?
Thanx
Jon
Here's what I do:
I have a folder on my Synology called "Public/Photos/JPGs" where I have folders with all of my JPGs.
I use the Apple Mac "Photos" app to manage all of my photos.
I store my Photos library (Photos Library.photoslibrary) on a 2TB SSD drive that's formatted as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)"
I then sync my photos to my iPad and iPhone using finder.
So I THINK that my Synology plays no part in the sync. I think it's just pulling my photos from the SSD.
This used to work fine, but I haven’t been able to sync with iOS and iPadOS 18.1 (have tried it with ALL of the Betas). Does the new iOS require a different file format or something?
Any ideas?!
