Will Apple Configurator for iPhone be able to enroll an Intel Mac without a T2 Controller? Session 10297 describes how to use the upcoming Apple Configurator for iPhone to enroll Macs in Apple Business Manager (or Apple School Manager) which weren't enrolled at purchase, but doesn't say which Macs will be able to do this. Earlier in the session, Pradhap Natarajan describes the Restore and Revive functions, and says they require either a T2 Controller or Apple Silicon. But when he describes enrolling existing Macs, he says "can assign Mac computers running macOS Monterey." So, can any Mac running Monterey be enrolled this way, even without a T2 Controller or Apple Silicon processor?
