Refunds For Rejected (First Time) Binary Over Forced In-App Purchases API
Hi there, I am writing to request a refund for the Apple Developer Program to which we recently subscribed. It is with regret that our binary keeps getting rejected - being told to use your in-app purchases API; instead of other payment providers. Your policies on this appear to be predatory and cast out other payment providers whose main business you are thwarting - as this is not your main line of business. We have no problem with predatory behaviour if it is the best technology out there, however, you have not yet penetrated the payments domain enough to put a policy that forces everyone on the planet to use Apple Pay - respectfully. For example, you only have a handful of presentment currencies, and so you cannot say to a local person in a country in Africa to pay in USD when they do not have it. They have local currencies and payment providers that we integrate with for their sakes. What you are making mandatory not only does not work in emerging economies, but it destroys the respect we gain from our clients by not allowing local currency payments. Losing them is the last thing we would want to do - and surely not at the expense of the luxury of Apple - ergo we would sacrifice our iOS app and deploy on other platforms that have already accepted HumanX. To it, may you kindly refund us the payment we made for your developer program or accept HumanX into the App Store? Please let us know so that we can plan or change our plans accordingly. We have been hurt by your polices and feel as if we have been shortchanged or bribed by paying and then being rejected. Thanks very much indeed. And looking forward to your feedback. Sincerely, Ra.
