I want to develop my first app
I am a foreign language major who has never developed an app. So unfortunately, I'm completely ignorant of the computer language required to develop apps. And I thought there was no plan to do it in the future, but the app with the features I wanted did not come out, so I finally decided to develop it myself. I don't know how much effort, time, and knowledge it takes to develop Apple's apps. But if you have a goal you want to achieve, I think it will be filled later, so I write on the developer forum. I'm currently planning 3 apps. First, I would like to make a "connector" for the web game I enjoy. It was actively developed on Android, but for some reason Apple's development did not proceed. The target web game is a Japanese web game called "Kantai collection". If there is something special, the game blocks IP access except for the country (Japan). Due to this peculiarity, even Android, where the connector app is made, uses VPN to connect. Second, we want to create an app specialized for sites where images are mainly uploaded, such as Pixiv, Pinterest, and DeviantArt. Although I mentioned sites such as Pixiv, I want to make an app that handles other small sites other than the representative sites. Pixiv is a well-known site and it is accessible and convenient, both through search and through the official app. But other small sites don't, so I'm thinking of an app that provides convenient access, convenient use (or download function) to such a small site. The third is the Twitter app, which is currently recognized as hopeless, but may be developed according to policy changes in the future. Twitter also has an official app, and there are many apps already involved with Twitter. But what I'm trying to get is a "real-time timeline" that was supported in the past but now stopped. Currently, the official Twitter app requires an additional gesture to read tweets from the timeline since the first update. We would like to develop a Twitter app that includes the function of "Automatically read timeline without gestures" supported by the past Twitter or the current "Tweetdeck" site. I currently own a 2020 M1 MacBook Air (256 GB, 16 GB RAM) and an M1 iPad Pro 11 inch (8 GB RAM) for development of this app, please let me know if you need additional consumption. I will gladly accept it. Android does not fall into the category of app development support. Also, I don't have any plans to commercially sell any apps made with that plan, and it doesn't matter if it's your own private app that isn't open to the public. If this is impossible to register in Apple's official App Store and can only be run through Testflight, I'm happy with it. In summary, I wonder if the app can be developed as planned with the minimum hardware elements (purchase of insufficient machine or upgrade of system specifications) that go into making the three apps I envisioned. It took time to develop, but it would be sad if it was out of service support just before the goal, or if it violated Apple's policy. I want to take a new step for my new experience, knowledge and convenience. In the hope that many people will help in this forum, I leave an Ask with my plans and small dreams. Thanks for reading the long text.
