Reply to IOS 14 WiFi
In response to tarnation's post - I checked my security settings on my router and doesnt have a WPA3 setting. I was set of WPA2, the crazy thing is though that when I switched the security to WPA (the less secure that Apple expressly said not to use) the problems have seemed to go away (for now) on my router (not the access point which is locked to have WPA/WPA2). In short Apple needs to get their s*** together and fix this.

I have to agree with a few of the posts below me. Nothing works and is a waste of time. Sadly I updated both my phone and iPad so I am screwed with either device and as rolling back the OS is a pain I really don't see that as an option for a fix. Having the device reconnect at wake, take a long time to connect, and not have a stable connection is basically defeating the whole point of a mobile device. Luckily I have unlimited data, but if someone didn't have that, this would bring their use of their device to a halt. Apple really needs to fix this on their side so people can actually use their device. I would think with a problem this big that they would have sent out a patch already. Especially for a live version. Guess not.
