This was the case for a few minutes after I updated to Beta 7. But suddenly all the files appeared in my iCloud Drive Desktop & Documents folders. (I was about half way through entering a feedback item.)

Firefox is working for me with Catalina Beta 6. However Chrome was crashing. I deleted the ~/Library/Google/Chrome folder and it works again. I wonder if the crash was caused by one of the extensions I was running.

I created a feedback report on this, but the notations from Apple are confusing. It is marked as:Recent Similar Reports: More than 10Resolution: Investigation complete - Works as currently designedI have added another note saying that this can't be as it was designed, and that there should be a way to delete a draft message.

I ran into this when using the watch's Settings/General/Software Update. However using the iPhone's Apple Watch App General/Software Update worked fine. Sort of the opposite of the beta 5 installation experience.

I got this message too. But I tried again and it got past this point. It is currently at “21 minutes remaining...”There is a thread at macrumors.com about this error message also. Someone there said that booting into the recovery partition (with cmd-R) and repairing both partitions with disk utility will help get around this.

Mine doesn't complete the first step. After about 10 minutes the installation process stopped with the message "Could not create preboot volume for AFPS install." Sounds like waiting to install this one would be a good idea. 😁

It was an arduous procedure with a number of error messages, but I managed to sign out of my Apple account on my Mac. Signing in again did in fact allow me to sign in to the App Store and update apps, etc. Thanks!
