Xcode 15.0.1 detected as beta version after re-install

I tried to re-install xcode based on various posts on the net, like deleting the xcode app and the developer folder etc., but now after re-installation I get the following message when submitting a bet versiomn to testflight:

This build is using a beta version of Xcode and can’t be submitted. Make sure you’re using the latest version of Xcode or the latest seed release found on the releases tab in News and Updates

Is there a proper way to reset ore remove xcode, so that an installation from Appstore is like completely new installation? I would like to get rid of any additional packages or modules and preferences that migth have been installed previously.

Curently I cannot submit any updates to the appstore and I would like to avoid a re-installation of macos.

The App Store experienced a temporary issue that is now resolved. Please see this other thread.
