Support for Sony Alpha 1 RAW

I guess Apple won't respond to this but does anyone know what the timeline might be for Apple to provide support for the Sony Alpha RAW files.

Or what is the typical timeframe to release an update to provide this support ?

I'm definitely wondering the same thing especially in regards to the new 4k codecs as well.

  • I have no answer why there is no Apple support for Sony A1 (ILCE-1) since a full year. It looks like it will never happen. Sad.

This is the flagship camera for arguably the number 1 professional camera manufacturer in the world. It has been out for almost a whole year! Apple is sleeping on this!

Screaming into the void on this one.. oh well. +1 for the 4k codecs too.. Absurdity. Seriously looking at a PC for my next purchase.
