How do you remove In-App Purchase from an app

I want to now make one of my apps free and not have in-app purchases any longer. When I go into the Identifiers screen in developer.apple.com the In-App is checked and grayed out. How do I remove that?

You can't because a user who purchased it needs to be able to restore it forever. You can remove it from sale. You can have the latest version of the app not reference it.


What are you doing to compensate the users who bought the IAP before it was not needed?

You can remove in app purchase from apple store. please follow the steps

  1. Manage inApp
  2. choose the product you want to remove
  3. check if the product is remove from sale or not
  4. if not remove please uncheck "Clear for sale" option
  5. then on extreme right side there will be a delete button that will show upon hover please remove by clicking on it.
