I've built a very niche app - a safari and animal-spotting app. I'm finding it hard to get it into people's hands and when I do, people don't purchase. On top of being very niche, I also think there are problems with the flow on the app from the moment it is downloaded to the moment the first Destination is ready. I would really love some feedback from some fellow developers on how I can improve things to get more people to purchase in-app. Even though many of you have probably never gone on safari, you have a load of experience with app flow and that sort of thing. If you could put yourself into the shoes of someone planning to go on safari, your feedback would be priceless! What might you expect from a safari app? What might you do to prepare for a safari expedition? How can my app help with that preparation? You guys are my last hope. Regards, Ryan Ashton Well Spotted! Hong Kong

Pickleball Scorecard is a beautiful and intuitive tool designed to be an effortless way for players and fans to keep track of the score so they can focus on the game. I am looking for Pickleballers to test the initial release of Pickleball Scorecard. This app is not yet released on the App Store. Both the iPhone and Apple Watch apps are ready for testing on the court. Pickleball Scorecard is similar to my other app Tennis Scorecard which is currently on the App Store.

Hello, we are making a weather app here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/TgK4mGpQ I know there are hundreds already but we still believe we have managed to make it more accessible than most and we consider that adding climate context to the current weather events might help people make sense of the situation at hand. Please let us know in case you have any comments or doubts. Thanks and enjoy your day!

Hey everyone! 👋 I’ve always been interested in AR/VR/mixed reality and was inspired by the release of the Apple Vision Pro to play around with RealityKit on the iOS. I was really impressed with how quick and simple iOS17’s Object Capture API made it to capture lifelike digital copies of objects. Objy is an iOS app with two modes: Capture and Discover. Capture mode (requires LiDAR - pro model iPhones post iPhone 12) guides the user through the process of walking and creating the capture. The app processes these into a digital copy on-device which you can upload to a profile. Discover mode presents a semi transparent box you can position in your environment (using your camera feed). Once set this anchors your object discovery feed as you swipe up and down to discover new objects. You can show your love for your discoveries with a burst of hearts, or save objects to your project like to view anywhere you want at a later time. Your profile holds your captured objects, as well as your saved objects. From your profile you can view any of these objects in your own space as well. You can share objects from your profile, sharing to other iOS devices will open them in the native iOS AR Quick View. Check out a demo video I made: https://youtube.com/shorts/_pSgPMFA1F4?si=S1M4sjW_ooG3LLrr The most recent TestFlight build adds guest mode - so you can see a shorter discovery feed without creating a profile. And it also adds Sign In with Apple. I’d love to get any feedback on the app (design, functionality, bugs!, or more). I am also always up to chatting with people passionate about AR and spatial computing, so feel free to reach out either via the support email address in the app, or on the discord I made for feedback: https://discord.gg/4FwDSApv Thanks, Marcus

App switching is probably one of the most common tasks we do when using our computers. There are many ways to open an app, but many of them have their own drawbacks. Opening an app using the Dock can become harder if you have many apps in it. Command-Tab is very useful when you want to switch to the most recent or second most recent app, but it can become troublesome beyond that. Spotlight is a versatile search tool, but it simply shows the app that was last used for a given query. On iOS, there is the 'Suggestions' box in the App Library, which displays four apps based on your usage patterns. It is often useful, but the experience could be even better on a computer. Here, a keyboard is always accessible, and predictions can be much more accurate even with just one or two letters. So I’ve been working on this context-aware app switcher named Applight, which is now available as a public beta starting today. Here are some key features: As soon as you press the modifier key of your choice, the app displays apps that you might want to use in that context. Type a letter or two, or press a number key, to quickly select the app you want to use. Open the selected app by just releasing your modifier key. Every person has a different way of using their computer. The app tailors its prediction algorithm based on your usage patterns. https://seungwoochoe.github.io/applight

Hello everyone! Zealous Notes is a (zealous) alternative to the standard Notes app. Give it a shot; tell me what you think of it. Here's the blurb: It has familiar Notes app features, including: On iPhone & iPad: Inline PDF documents Speech Recognition Markup Mode Apple Spotlight Search integration iPad: Handwriting Recognition ( via Apple Pencil) Edit notes side-by-side …and zealous features, including: Stack related notes on top of each other, as either: a permanent bundle of linked notes, or a transient #hashtag reference. Link notes to your Calendar events (by permission only!) Toggle Header & List options inline with your text. Subdivide your notes into sections, to ease editing of your notes' related ideas, optionally, each with its own undo-redo memory. Draggable Controls .…and more! Zealous Notes will never mine, manipulate, or abscond with any of your data. Open a new note & tap the “Getting Started” guide to get started! **for the curious: 'Zealous Notes' is built upon its ancestor app — 'Text & Markup'. As installed, it will appear as 'Zealous Notes'. Once the updated app is pushed onto the App Store proper, 'Zealous Notes' will fully supplant the old name. This ought to ease the transition to the new app for existing 'Text & Markup' users.
